This was requested by =explosiv22.. not directly "blending" was requested and what she got was 5 videos of various types, ROFL.
This one is about blending one colour to another colour outside of a natural blending family. This technique works best with the brush nib of the Copic sketch or Ciao marker, but it will work with other markers as well, with a little practice.
There's more marker information and tutorials at my blog, MarkerGuru
Thanks! I have lots of copic videos on youtube (my username is Gurukitty), and I also do online classes for copics as well. I love them so much HAHA! Kudos on using a Futurama character, ahha! Awesome ! thanks
As you can see, I'm still sort of a fanboy with them. Early this year I learned, quite by accident, that I could scan these things into CorelDraw into a wireframe and interesting things happened. The fun and experimentation continues...
OH! I'm so glad I'm going to be hosting classes in the new year. If you're interested, check it out here: [link] Theres a newsletter to get more information when I start
ciao's are the least expensive, Sketch are the most popular and are the only one in the full 334 colour range. as far as markers go they're not far off average- a littler higher than most but they have the most to offer - the initial cost can be tough sometimes but the fact that they're refillable means you spend less in the long run. depending on where you live tehy can range from 5-9$ each for sketch markers and I've seen ciaos as low as 2$.
icopic.com sells them all online if you're in Canada opusframing.com has them as well, and shipping will be less if you're in canada.
